I didn’t realize how many people became florists after walking through the hardest seasons of their lives, searching for beauty when everything felt heavy. My story was the same. I found flowers back in 2019 when I was navigating a season of depression. The Lord used those blooms to remind me that He was still arranging the seasons of my life, even when I couldn’t see the pattern.
From there, this little idea grew into a company that bloomed bigger and more beautiful than anything I imagined. I met some incredible people. I created in places I never thought I would stand. I learned so much and I carry every lesson with me. I will always be grateful for this chapter.
But now it is time for a change. Grief has changed everything in my life, and rebuilding hasn’t been the easiest, but I’m finally feeling some clarity on next steps.
I will no longer be operating MB Floral Design as a full design wedding and special company. I’ll be transitioning into freelance work, supporting other floral designers and teams here in Alabama and beyond whenever extra hands or creative support are needed. It feels like the right next step, a way to stay connected to the craft I love without carrying the weight of running a full company. In other parts of my life, I am a corporate girlie, author , speaker, leader, and a handful of other things. And honestly, I think it is time to create space for those parts of me to bloom again. I’ll be sharing some content soon as my worlds collide, but you can also follow my personal page to keep up
Thank you to every client who trusted me with the vision for your special day or your special moment. Thank you to every vendor who sent a referral my way. Thank you to every floral friend who locked arms with me, cheered me on, or lifted a bucket with me these last few years. Thank you for the support, the kindness, and the community. I won’t ever forget it.
