Some things draw us in on a purely aesthetic level. We're wired to appreciate beautiful objects, whatever their purpose.

Other things work on us differently, emotionally rather than visually. A piece may not be particularly beautiful, but it carries a memory. It was there, somewhere in your past, and you remember how life felt when it was part of it.

That sweet spot, where something is beautiful and already has meaning, is where I want this shop to be.
