You were made for the darkness,
A story told to me.
You were made for the darkness,
The story I was made to believe
You were made for the darkness,
I one day would grieve.
You were made for the darkness,
one day I would conceded.

You were made for the darkness,
The voices would say to me.
I was made for the darkness,
So why attempt to flee.
I was made for the darkness,
Why don't you see?

I was made for the darkness,
But the child inside was me.
I was made for the darkness,
Why can't you accept my plea??

And then they said.
"You were made for the darkness?"
"How can this be?"
For the child inside replied,
"You are mistaken. The darkness was made for me."
For without the darkness, where could I shine?
Shine this bright little light of mine?

So you see the darkness is not what it seems.
The darkness is where all of life gleams.

I am not made for the darkness.
The darkness was made for me.

Long ago when I was just a child I was taught to be pretty, stay pretty, walk pretty... paint pretty. And I did. I stayed small to make others comfortable in my space. So this is me, my rebellion, my coming alive in a way I loved, but left to be pretty, but no more the Queen has arrived and she is all. Duality at its best.
