The Crocheted Gnome

I wanted to make something tonight and decided to whip up this cute mini backpack. It will easily hold a set of dice, chapstick, change, guitar picks- the options are endless! I need to add a button to this and it’s ready to go.

I made myself a purple gnome hat to match my logo! The artist who drew my little gnome is my best friend’s talented daughter and I love it. She did a great job! You can see more from this talented teenager on Twitter.

I decided to work up a matching infinity scarf to go with the gnome hats.

React with a ❤️ if you’d wear this as a combo, a 😆 for just the hat, and a 👍🏻 for just the scarf!

I’m kind of obsessed with how these turned out! And bonus, my face is so warm in this cold, snowy weather.

As a side note, the beards are sewn into the hat, but if you want to wear the hat without the beard, it’s roomy enough you can tuck the beard inside and wear it normally. I’m all about versatility.

I’ve just finished all of the hat sizing. This is the adult regular size.

My 19 month old wears the toddler hat size, both my 4 and 8 year old comfortably wear the child hat size, and my husband wears the adult large sizing.

I’ll be adding beards to these hats so keep an eye out for that coming soon!

I had some time to kill on Tuesday while my oldest little gnome was at a tutoring session at school, so what better way to pass the time than by working on some gnome hats?

I decided I am going to add the gnome hats to my shop. I will have toddler, child, adult and adult large sizes available. You’ll be able to choose to have the hat with or without an attached beard.

This is a nearly finished toddler hat and the beard will be added on today! I’ll post an update with the beard soon, so stay posted!
