Took this young fella to one of my buddies shop to work on this blade. It was the shop I learned in but now I get what it’s like to work in some else’s shop. He’s got some sanding left to do on the handle but it’s a blade I would pay money for. He’s got some really cool stuff going on in his steel appearance. I would like to thank the fella for allowing me to use his shop, he prefers to keep his name out of social media so I will just say thanks Steve

I Maker mark testing with electro etching. I no it’s blurry but o well. 6 amp or 2 amp. 12 volt (old school battery charger). The etched part is pretty good. I’ll get the cricut back out and widen the lines and make the stamp just a bit bigger…

Thank you for the Claro walnut. I figured I better take a couple pics of 2 sets from the block you sent me. I know there’s four pics of two sets but you really need to see it from different angles to see what the light is doing. This is really going to pop.
I heard about a a couple bladesmithing tradings. 1: that you keep your first blade and, 2: make a blade every year for yourself. That’s the blade and I’ll use one of those block
