Replacing a hot tub that is completely built into a backyard deck adds a whole new level of complexity to a delivery.

In this video, Pete shows you the unique structural trick our team had to use just to get the old spa safely out of its tight deck framing before the crane could even begin the lift.

Watch the full video to see how we guide a massive tub over the roofline, coordinate the trailer swap, and maneuver the new spa back into the exact same footprint without a scratch. It is a fascinating look at how a professional crew handles high-stakes coordination from start to finish!

Buying a hot tub in the Treasure Valley? Your neighborhood matters more than you'd think.

🏡 Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, Star — generally good access, but newer lots can be tight between houses. Check your gate width and watch for HOA placement rules.
🏡 North End, Bench, East End — charming, and sometimes tricky. Narrow side yards, mature landscaping, and old fences. Occasionally a crane.
🏡 Foothills and view lots — gorgeous, but slopes and terracing need real foundation planning, and wind exposure makes insulation matter more.
🏡 Acreage and rural — easy access, usually on a well, so plan for water treatment.

We assess the delivery path on every sale, before you order. Full Boise buyer's guide in Comments:

Steps from the back door, right off the deck, sheltered by the house. This Caldera is in exactly the kind of spot that still gets used in January.

Where should a hot tub go? Five layouts that reliably work:

🪵 Deck-integrated — the most seamless look, steps from the door
⛩️ Pergola patio — the workhorse, and the best fit for most Idaho yards
🧖 Wellness zone — spa, sauna, and cold plunge together for the full contrast cycle
🏊 Poolside — resort feel, and the spa carries you through the months the pool is closed
🌿 Garden nook — maximum privacy, tucked into a screened corner

Each one works if you get the fundamentals right: close to the house, proper foundation, sheltered from wind, and a path you'll actually clear in January.

Ever wonder what's behind the panel? 👀 Pumps, heater, control board, plumbing, and insulation — all of it packed into a few square feet. This is the part that determines whether a spa lasts 8 years or 20.
