It's pretty amazing how fast years go.

Our son has grown up around Taylord 2 Painting. From being a little kid "helping" dad, making his own painter sandwich, getting his hands dirty and learning the trade, to the man he is becoming.

Turns out we weren't just building a painting company all these years, we have been raising our family right alongside it. ❤️

🇺🇸 Honoring Veterans Day

Today and every day, we pause to honor the men and women who have carried our nation on their shoulders — those who served, those still serving, and the families who serve alongside them.

Your courage built the freedom we live under.
Your sacrifice is the reason we get to enjoy ordinary days.
We don’t take that for granted.

From all of us at Taylord 2 Painting, thank you.

May your day be filled with peace, gratitude, and the knowledge that your service matters — and it continues to inspire.

With deepest respect — Happy Veterans Day. 🇺🇸

Happy Monday! 🍁 Time to set a cozy tone for the week with a fall-inspired color moodboard. We’re loving a palette of Dark Olive, Gray-Brown, and Saturated Mauve for interiors this season. These rich hues work together to make a room feel warm and inviting, like a snug autumn hug. Designers are embracing deeper tones like these this year , so why not try a touch of this autumn palette in your own home?

Lazy Sunday vibes: imagine a late-afternoon sun spilling into your living room, painting everything in a golden glow. 🌇 Now add rich fall colors to the mix – say, a Dark Olive accent wall and a few Saturated Mauve decor pieces catching that light. The result is pure magic. The fall sunlight makes these deep hues absolutely glow, and as it fades, you switch on a lamp and see the colors take on an even cozier tone (warm lighting really brings out their best ). This is what we love about autumn interiors: each hour of the day feels inviting. With the right palette, your home can be your snug haven, from sunny afternoons to lamp-lit evenings. Happy Sunday, and enjoy the warmth around you! 🍂

Did you know? Our love for fall colors goes deeper than just liking how they look – it’s actually rooted in psychology! 🍂 As the days get cooler and shorter, we naturally gravitate toward earthy, grounding hues. For example, warm browns are like a psychological safety blanket, making us feel stable and secure during the seasonal transition . And those deep reds, plums, and burgundies we adore (looking at you, Saturated Mauve 😉) actually create a “cocooning” effect in a room – they make spaces feel more intimate and snug, encouraging us to relax and linger longer . No wonder a room painted with autumnal colors feels so cozy! It’s basically 🍁 Mother Nature’s recipe for comfort, backed by a bit of science. So next time you settle into a room with olive green, brown, or mauve accents and feel extra cozy, you’ll know why.
