Beauty through Courage is an annual event dedicated to focusing and raising awareness on domestic violence in the Greater Kansas City area and around the world. Featuring an evening of comedy, masquerade, dancing, fashion, art, entertainment and socializing, Beauty through Courage is dedicated to putting a spotlight on Rose Brooks Center with part of the evening’s proceeds benefiting them as well!

Not just protecting the hundreds of women and children who need emergency shelter to escape immediate danger, but the thousands of families who dream of a life safe from violence. Beauty through Courage will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at the Amp Event Center, in Overland Park, KS, 6pm. Beauty through Courage is a purple carpet; dual themed event (Black Tie optional Masquerade-Costume Gala) hosted by Fox 4 News Anchor, Ms. Wear something purple and we will enter your name to win one of many door prizes. Come out to have your picture taken on the purple carpet. Hope to see you there!
