🐾 HELP TRUMAN FIND HIS FOREVER HOME! 🐾

How is this handsome boy still waiting?! 🥹💙

Truman is a gorgeous pittie born around April 2022 and weighs about 60 lbs. He’s outgoing, playful, social, and ready to find a family who can give him the structure (and playtime!) he thrives with.

🏡 A little about Truman:
🐾 House & crate trained
🐾 Does great with a consistent daily routine
🐾 Friendly, outgoing & loves to play
🐾 Currently fostered with several other large dogs
🐾 Has attended lots of adoption events and does great meeting people
🐾 Has previously lived with kids and another dog

Truman can be a big, enthusiastic guy, so a home without small children or older dogs would likely be the best fit. His playtime with other dogs is currently monitored to make sure everyone stays happy and comfortable.

Truman has also shown some protective barking when unfamiliar people enter the home. The good news? When it’s not reinforced and he’s given appropriate direction, he settles. He’ll need an adopter who is comfortable providing structure, setting boundaries, and helping him learn that new visitors are no big deal.

He’s a wonderful, social dog who just needs the right person willing to understand him and help him succeed. ❤️

🐾 September Rescue of the Month! 🐾

This month, we’re excited to support an amazing all-volunteer rescue that has been helping animals since 2001, Friends of the Friendless Animal Rescue ! 💛

Their mission is simple but incredibly important: give animals who have been abandoned, lost, unwanted, or mistreated a second chance. With proper care, patience, and a whole lot of love, these dogs and cats get the opportunity to show everyone what wonderful companions they can be. 🐶🐱

And of course, none of it happens without people. Volunteers, foster homes, adopters, donors, and supporters are what keep rescues like this going - and there are always more animals waiting for their turn.

Throughout September, we’ll be sharing more about the rescue, ways you can support their mission, and of course, some adorable adoptable faces looking for homes. 🏡❤️

Meet Beau 🩶🐾

Beau is 3 years old, ridiculously handsome, very smart, and mostly just wants to be wherever his people are.

He’s had a lot of change in his short life (through no fault of his own) and this sweet guy is more than ready to stop moving around and find his people for good.

Beau is housetrained, kennel-trained, great in the house, walks nicely on a leash, and even appreciates the importance of sleeping in on a lazy morning. 🙌

Personality-wise? He’s equal parts cuddle bug and giant goofball. He loves kisses, naps at your feet, tug-of-war, pouncing on his toys, and apparently giving some quality side-eye when things don’t go his way. 😂 He’s also food motivated and already knows sit, down, and stay.

Beau has lived successfully with another dog, although a meet-and-greet is recommended for potential dog siblings. Little kids make him nervous, so he’d be happiest in a home without young children.

After three homes, Beau really isn't asking for much. Just some good snacks, people to love, and a place where he finally gets to stay. 🩶
