A portion of River Road South in Salem has been closed due to a landslide blocking both lanes, city spokesperson Trevor Smith said Sunday morning. No traffic is allowed between Owens Street SE and Minto Island Road SE. A detour route includes Croisan Creek Road S, to avoid the area, Smith said.
