Duck Creek Pottery

Duck Creek Pottery Duck Creek Pottery is made in NC by Sylvia Coppola, a potter since 1976. I mix all
of my own glazes which are blues, greens, yellows and plum browns.

Pots are gas fired to high temps contributing to an atmosphere that creates muted earthy pots.

Pottery 51 in Mint Hill is Accepting Applications for new members!
A little bit about us, what we do, and what we can offer you….

We are located in Mint Hill NC, easy access from 485 as well as Matthew Mint Hill rd. (Hwy.51).

Membership includes 24/7 access to a 3500 sq/ft climate-controlled studio with 3 large kilns, 2 Shimpo/Nidec slab rollers, 4 Brent wheels, Wall mounted extruder, numerous work tables, maintained studio glazes and SO much more available for member use.

Our ideal candidate would be a potter who has taken multiple classes and is well versed in studio practices as well as the ability to work independently as we do not offer classes or workshops. Our studio is ideal for potters that have taken classes and want to start to explore the craft more independently and find their own voice outside a class setting. Potters that work from their homes and want to be a part of a clay community are also encouraged to apply.

We have formed a very supportive community of potters here at Pottery 51 and we are happy to meet with you to tour the space and answer any questions you have.
