First round of vendor spotlights for Groovy Cat Market are here!!!! These are all of the rad glass artists who will be set up on the Groovy Greenhouse side! You can expect to find both fused and stained glass art in all shapes, sizes, and styles. Come meet and support these local glass artists at Groovy Cat Market on Saturday June 27th from 4-8pm!

July class schedule is here!!! Launching some brand new workshops including our first multi-week fusing class! This class will cover almost everything you need to know about glass fusing while making functional art for your home! Reminder that registration for these classes will open this Thursday June 18th at 7pm on our website. Hey there! I’m Alyssa, the owner of Groovy Greenhouse Studio & the person behind this account! I started my stained glass journey 5 years ago when I decided to purchase all of the supplies and teach myself via YouTube & sheer will. I know most folks say that they made their first piece and were instantly hooked but that wasn’t the case with my experience. Stained glass is hard and teaching yourself makes it even harder! (Take a class y’all, it’s worth it) I struggled through that first piece and had to push myself to continue trying but eventually I got better & started to enjoy the process. I made my main career goal to open a brick & mortar studio so that Indianapolis had a designated space for learning and practicing stained glass. Two years ago I achieved that goal when we opened our studio on the near east side of Indy 🧡 In just two years we’ve hosted dozens of classes to hundreds of people who were brave enough to try this medium! A little over a year ago we started offering open studio to folks who wanted to use our space and tools to work on glass art & connect with other glass artists. I’m so proud to say that we currently have 15 members! I couldn’t be happier of how far this lil business venture has come already but we’re not done growing! We’re currently working on a major expansion that I can’t wait to share with you all soon. In the meantime, thank you so much for your continued support of me, my business, & my goals of building a major glass community in Indianapolis 🫶🏻

Hard launch of my rebrand!!! So grateful for for helping me bring my vision to life 🧡 Lots of reasons behind the rebrand! I wanted a logo that included the words “glass studio” and an actual stained glass design so that folks would know what my business was just by looking at my branding. This probably won’t come as a surprise to anyone but I was getting a lot of people stopping by the studio asking if I sell plants 😂 I was also just ready for an updated, cleaner design. I love that this new branding is still groovy and colorful but more readable. Also, as my business has grown, so has the need to have more logo options, patterns, fonts, etc. Sarah was able to put together a full branding package for me! Lastly, there’s one more very exciting reason for the rebrand that I’ll be formally announcing very soon! 👀

I’ve been having the best time creating silly lil fused glass art. It’s all perfectly imperfect & brings me so much joy 🧡 New funky bolo ties will be available tomorrow at and any leftover will be put on my website!

Veggie garden stakes!!! 🫛🍅🥕 I envision these in yalls gardens this summer encouraging your plants to grow into tasty food. I’m working on some other versions with flowers & garden critters that I’ll hopefully get done in time for this Sunday!
