They say a luxurious primary bathroom needs two sinks.

But real luxury isn’t about following a formula.

It’s about designing your home around the way you actually live.

For many of my clients, one sink is plenty. Rather than adding a second sink just because that’s what people expect, we use that space for something they’ll enjoy every single day - a dedicated vanity for getting ready.

I often tell this to my neutral clients: powder rooms are one of the best places to go a little bolder than you normally would.

You don’t spend hours in there like you do in a kitchen or living room, which means dramatic wallpaper, deeper colors, and more personality tend to feel exciting instead of overwhelming.

It’s also a smaller space, so you can make a huge visual impact without needing a huge budget. A little wallpaper in a powder room goes a longgg way.

And somehow, these tiny rooms always end up being the spaces guests remember most anyway.

You may think remodel decisions get easier once you start checking things off.

In reality, they get harder when they’re made in the wrong order.

A good example is lighting.

In a typical remodel process, the lighting plan is often done upfront.
Then your layout ends up tied to a chandelier centered in the room, and suddenly your dining table placement doesn’t quite work.

But when everything is carefully considered and planned, your home feels easy… natural… like it was made for you.

Because it was.
