These photos aren’t styled for a magazine.

There is dog hair on the furniture. Wrinkles in the bedding. Smudges on the mirror. Scuff marks on the door.

But maybe that’s the beauty of a home.

The wrinkles mean someone slept well. The smudges mean someone caught their reflection on the way out the door. The dog hair means you’re lucky enough to share your home with faithful companions.

The most beautiful homes aren’t the ones that look untouched.

They’re the ones that tell the story of the people—and pets—who live there.

A well-designed home gives you the freedom to live fully.

And I think that’s beautiful.

Your kitchen is built twice.

First on paper. Then in your home.

The cabinetry is officially installed in my showroom, but months of planning happened before a single cabinet arrived. Every layout decision, cabinet dimension, panel, and filler was carefully planned before installation day.

Homeowners often ask where they should start when choosing kitchen finishes. The truth is, there isn’t one universal answer.

Some clients fall in love with a particular countertop. Others have their heart set on white oak cabinetry. In an open-concept home, the existing flooring may become the starting point because everything else needs to work with it.

The goal isn’t to follow a formula. The goal is to create a cohesive kitchen where every finish feels intentional and belongs with the others.

That’s why I don’t start with a rule—I start with what matters most to my client, and design everything else around it.
