🌻 GOLDENROD GATHERING IS BACK! 🌱

Join us at the farm for a day of Herbal skill shares and learn about native plants and their uses, medicine making, crafts, mindful movement, vendors and more!

We will be offering cut your own sunflowers, so bring a bucket and take some sunshine home with you! 🌻💚

SCHEDULE:
11 am - doors open, vendors
11:20 - welcome circle
11:30 - 1 - Activity 1:
- Kudzu basket weaving (part 1)
- Mindful movement and tea ceremony
- Digestive & immune health
- Plant walk
1 - 2 - picnic & vendors
2 - 3:30 - Activity 2:
- Kudzu basket weaving (part 2)
- Herbal Thai compress
- Women’s Herbalism
- Plant walk
- Hand-rolled incense making
3:30 - 5 pm - Demos, vendors & refreshments

Bring your own picnic for lunch, a camp chair or blanket to sit on, your water bottle and a tea mug. Kids under 12 enter for free and we thank you for not bringing your dog.

The ice storm did a number on our high tunnel. Don’t make the same mistakes we did. Always bump the snow and ice off when possible. Never leave the shade cloth on during winter precipitation. (DUH…we know this now.) And IF you can’t get the snow + ice off…cut your plastic. You can always replace the plastic. Rebuilding a compromised structure is another thing.

Hope this *cringe worthy* mishap can help other farmers from the same fate. ONWARD!

Happy New Year from our holler to yours! We are so excited for the 2025 growing season and all of the new offerings from the farm this year.

In 2025, we will be hosting BYOB (bring your own bucket) cutting events and workshops through the summer. Picture this: you and two of your best pals head out to the farm for an evening in the gardens! We will walk the fields, snip buckets of blooms, and head into our workshop space for mini-arranging sessions and more!

Catch us at the 2025 Red River Gorge Farmers Market every Saturday from 10a-2p at Natural Bridge State Resort and Park! Stay tuned for other local farmers markets we will be popping up at!
