We are a metal sign decor fabrication shop. We provide signs that can be personalized to customers names.

We also create custom signs not shown in the standard product catalog. A portion of the proceeds goes to support local and national charities.

Still looking for that unique Christmas gift for your special someone come check us out for over 80 standard steel sign decor products or we can create a custom item as well. Speaking of custom we had the privilege of making the greatest hide and seek champion of all time Big Foot / Sasquatch. This piece stands at 7 ft tall and approximately 5ft wide. The Latrobe Police sign was over 5 ft tall and 4 ft wide We have made numerous signs over the years from one off custom signs to orders for over 300 signs at once.

We want to thank all our friends, family and new acquaintances for ordering custom metal signs from us Steel City Metal Works. We didn’t post as much this past year with how busy we have been but we were able to squeeze in a last minute request a few days before Christmas.

Here are just a few of our projects over the past year. What started out as a fun hobby for gifts to friends and family has turned into thousands of unique custom decor metal signs made over the years. We have already received and started making products for 2025.

For all the Penn State fans be sure to see the last two images on the post. The personalized “We Are” is by far the biggest collegiate personalized request sign I make year in and year out.

As always we love to see pictures of your signs hanging as well and we hope you enjoy them as much as we did in making them for you.

Your purchases have helped in our yearly donations to a couple of charities that we support as well.

A handful of our latest projects. My son asked for a set up to hold his compound bow. Pool ball rack with RGB LED backed lighting for my daughter who hand painted round canvas for a fun design for her room. Plus a handfull of other custom requests along with some standard product designs.

A few of the latest projects from the last couple of weeks. Also a big thanks to a local post office who ordered 135 signs for Veterans Day. It was an enjoyable process of making a few designs for them to pick from, sending them samples of the signs and then I also had the privilege of delivering them in person to meet everyone I had been talking with over the last couple of months on this special project.

We want to thank everyone for helping to share our posts, and customers who have recommended our services to friends and family. We are still accepting Christmas orders. There must be something in the air this year as we have had a lot of requests for Bigfoot signs this year so we have a few examples below in case you or a special someone needs a Sasquatch in their life.

Ordering is fairly simple and straight forward. Visit or Facebook business page Steel City Metal Works or visit or website for ideas and inspiration. Don’t see what you would like to order we do custom work as well. Message us on Facebook or by email with your unique requests. We create the design and supply you with a rendering prior to you ordering so that you can see exactly what you will get. You can make revision requests to your custom steel decor sign after receiving the rendering. We do not take payment to do the renderings as we want our customers to be pleased with the design prior to production. See some of our latest designs below showing the renderings and finished product.

Price point for a 2ft diameter sign is usually $50 to $75 dollars sometimes less. Depends on design time and laser cut time. Pricing is always given prior to supplying a rendering. Again if you don’t love the rendering no pressure to order the sign.

We can deliver if needed or allow for customer pick up if you are local to Irwin PA area or ship anywhere in the U.S.

Some of our latest projects. With Christmas right around the corner be sure to get your orders in soon. We were able to meet all of last years requests and strive to do the same this year as well.

We have been receiving a lot of repeat customers and a few new customers that had been referred to us by previous customers. There is nothing better than word of mouth to support businesses and for us to have gained your trust is truly our honor. We can turn signs around in a few days to even as short as 24 hr notice.

Lots of fun for a few of these with three layered / dimensions sign. We love the ideas that our customers have.

The non custom Harley Davidson sign is still available from out last run see picture for size and pricing and we can always customize to include name as shown in another picture.
