life at 58

I love getting older, even with the aches, wrinkles, and everything in between. They mean I am still here. They mean I have a new opportunity every day to be better, to do better.

Some days I succeed; others, I suck at it. But that's what tomorrows are for.

Our family is my greatest blessing. We gave our kids roots and wings. They are using their wings right now, and it is truly amazing to watch them fly.

God blessed me with many gifts, and I plan to use them all. I am constantly stepping out of my comfort zone. And when, someday, my number is up, I want to hear my Lord say, "She fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith."
