My precious grandmother, Bessie Kiser, taught me the craft of crochet when I was a little girl. I never had time to do anything with the skill until my child grew up and I realized I actually had time for myself. When I crochet, it is my outlet and my time to reflect and think of my grandmother. I feel closer to her every time I pick up my crochet needle and yarn and it makes me happy. She is my angel watching me from Heaven.
