🥗 Classic Macaroni Salad 🍴✨
Creamy, tangy, and packed with crunchy veggies, this Classic Macaroni Salad is the perfect side dish for barbecues, potlucks, and picnics. It's easy to make and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser! 🌟
📋 Ingredients:
For the Salad:
2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
1 cup celery, finely chopped
½ cup red bell pepper, diced
½ cup red onion, finely chopped
½ cup shredded carrots
½ cup dill or sweet pickle relish
For the Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp paprika (optional, for garnish)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
🥣 Directions:
Cook the Macaroni:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Let cool completely.
Prepare the Dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Mix the Salad:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled macaroni, celery, red bell pepper, red onion, carrots, and pickle relish. Pour the dressing over the mixture and toss gently until everything is coated evenly.
Chill and Serve:
