Rainbow's End Designs

Rainbow's End Designs Custom designed diamond painting kits. Beautiful one of a kind paintings. You will be involved in every step to assure you are completely happy with your design.

I am now offering high quality custom diamond art kits, available in round or square drills, with choice of poured glue or double-sided adhesive. Each kit will be designed with high color counts at all sizes, resulting in the best possible depth and detail in the finished product. I will adjust and enhance your original photo and remove any distracting background clutter to obtain the most accurat

e rendition. I will provide charted mockups of the finished painting in various sizes and color counts for your selection. When the designing process is complete, and your selection is made you will be provided with a final mockup showing what the finished painting will look like as well as the charted design with symbols for your approval before printing. Each canvas is a work of art with very accurate color matching. Your kit will include beautifully printed canvas, enough high-quality drills to complete your painting in various sized zip baggies labeled with DMC numbers, two sets of removable labels with symbol and DMC numbers for ease of kitting up, and an extra printed key. Your canvas will be kept flat until the day of shipping when it will be rolled around a large foam noodle and shipped in a cardboard box for protection. Prices start at $39.00 for a 30X40 canvas and increase according to size. Once your design is complete and you have placed your custom painting order, delivery may take up to 4 weeks. I will keep you informed of delivery times. Shipping to the US only and free delivery for orders over $50. I also offer photo adjustments for custom diamond painting. The first one is provided at no charge, the fee for any additional adjustments would be based on the degree of difficulty, not to exceed $15 per photo. I will review any photo you submit for a custom painting, whether it is to be done by me or elsewhere and advise you the best way to adjust it for an optimal finished painting. All my work is guaranteed 100%, I am a one-woman small business based in the US and everything receives my personal attention and care! If you choose to have your painting printed and processed elsewhere, I can provide a digital PDF of the chart to be submitted. I cannot guarantee the quality of the canvas or drills if processed elsewhere. Prices for the PDF file would start at $20.

Good morning,
I'm not sure how to word this, so I'm just jumping in. My husband, who has been fighting Lyme disease for the last two and a half years, died on the twentieth of November. Although we have been expecting this and in a way, it was a relief for both of us, I'm struggling with it.
At this time, I'm trying to get all of his affairs switched over into my name as well as trying to decide what I'm going to do about my business. Ron wanted me to continue, but without him, who contributed a lot, I'm going to be doing everything and it's going to be time consuming for each kit. While in the long run, I think I will continue with my custom designing, I will try to take care of my repeat buyers, but I don't know how quickly I can address these. I won't be able to take on any new requests until further notice. If you would prefer to go somewhere else, I completely understand, but if you would like to wait and see if I can get back up and running at as full a speed as I can, I'll be more than happy to work with you.
Thank you for your understanding,
Linda Pradetto

Good day everyone! First I want to welcome all of my new followers and thank everyone for their interest. I have a few posts I would like to get up, but I'm pretty busy, so it may take me a while to get them up.
This first one, I am thinking about added a gallery wrap frame option to my kits. These would need to be pieced together before stretching the canvas on them. With each kit these are included, frame would be sized along with the design area and the design would be sized to fit perfectly to the frame with a printed border in either black or a complementary color.
These come in .75", 1.25" and 1.5" and I would like to know which one of these would work best. If any of you might be interested in something like this, I would love to hear what size you think would be best.
Unfortunately, I can't find a good picture of just the frame put together, this is a screenshot of a video, showing how they fit together and the stretcher board, before it is put together.

Good day everyone!
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone for your understanding and patience while my husband and I tried to get a handle on his chronic Lyme disease and the severe neurologic problems the disease has caused him. Our late winter and spring was comprised of multiple trips to doctors, emergency rooms and 50 mile daily round trips to the hospital for treatments. Although all of this didn't give us the positive results we had hoped we have figured out a way to manage his neurological damage and have settled into a manageable routine.
The good new for everyone is that we are now ready to get back to what we enjoy, providing the best custom kits. Although I never stopped taking orders from a few of my regular buyers, we are glad to say we are now open to regular business.
This is one of the beautiful diamond art kits we put together, last year, for one of my best people. Thank you Nikki for allowing me to share this!

I have a question. When I put together a kit, I will put my information, the kit's information and the key along the right side of the design. I provide the key on separate sheets of paper. Would you prefer I not add these to the canvas and just leave the surrounding border blank/white?

Good day everyone,
I've been so busy I've not had a chance to post in such a long time. Now I really need to post an update and let everyone know some of what is going on.
As some of you know I am the sole owner and operator of this custom business. My husband helps by transferring the drills from those tiny one-gram bags to the larger ones we ship. Other than that, I do everything from designing to packaging and shipping. We have a very tight timeline on each kit and if there is any variation, it can take forever to get back into order.
Due to some serious health issues my husband has been dealing with for well over a year and as I’ve been acting as his caregiver, this takes up quite a bit of my time. Just recently we have made two different trips to the ER, he is recovering slowly, but this has added to the time needed for his care.
Along with all his health problems we have been dealing with some pretty big home repair issues, which has added to the time I have to spend away from Rainbow’s End. After thousands of dollars and multiple repairs, I believe we may have that resolved.
At this time, we don’t have a clear idea of what the future holds for my husband's health, but we are hopeful.
These are the reasons for the delays I've been experiencing. I welcome your requests for customs and will do my best to have them ready to ship in as timely manner as I can. But we do hope you will understand if I get a little behind. If you don't want to deal with this or need your paintings faster than I can get them out, I totally understand and hope you can find a company that can do justice to your images.
Thank you,
Linda

Before I get into my new post, I would like to thank everyone that has liked and followed my Rainbow's End Designs page. I look forward to talking to you!!

This post covers some of the customs I have designed for one of my best repeat customers. I really, really appreciate you, Nikki! As well as all of my clients, previous, new, repeat and future! I have been designing customs for her since before I decided to go all in as a custom diamond painting designer.

These are either the canvas after it was printed and before I shipped it out or the charted design ready to be printed. The one of the two band members we did two different sizes.

Please message me for all of your custom diamond painting needs.

Good morning, everyone! Today I would like to address a service I provide. I can put together designs for just about anything you could want. These three designs were created, from the description the client gave.
The way it works is, I am given a detailed description of what you have in mind, and I will come up with an initial design. Most times it is very close to what the final design will be. We will then tweak it until it is exactly what you had in mind. When you are satisfied, I will provide samples in different sizes and number of colors used for you to select from. Since my samples are simply the color blocks, without the symbols, that will be printed on the canvas, all my samples are very close representatives of the finished canvas. The second and third images are of the same design, the first, or second, is the charted design before printing and the second, or third, is the framed finished painting. The other two are still works in progress and I haven't received a picture of the finished painting yet.

Please feel free to ask any questions in here or send me a message.

My second post for today, shows the canvas wrapped around the noodle, the drills and tools packaged and ready to go into the boxes. And the second photo is everything packaged up, labeled and ready to be sent to the post office.

I do everything from talking to you about your photo, enhancing it if needed, charting numerous mockups or samples to be sent to you, to doing the final chart and making sure the design is crisp, and easily read. I also sort through all the drills, making sure there is as little bad drills and any other objects, as possible, bagging them in individually labeled zip bags, and finishing up the canvas and tools, getting them ready to ship out. I give each and every step of every custom my undivided attention and truly enjoy and take pride in each and every custom kit I produce.

Today I have some follow up posts on my process and what is included in each custom kit. The last post I showed the two canvases I was getting ready to ship with the liquid adhesive applied and it was setting up. Today's photos show the same canvases with the protective film applied and what I include with each kit. The canvas and drills of course and also the tools, a pen, tray, small pot with wax, a drill scoop, tray brush, tweezers and a small magnifying glass. I also include two extra keys/legends, two sets of container labels and enough release papers to cover the whole design area. I also show the large foam noodle that I wrap the canvas around to protect it in shipping and to keep the canvas from flattening out and getting creases.

One more post for today. I thought I'd show my process on how I apply the glue to the canvas. I use a liquid glue made for diamond paintings and even though I call it poured glue, it is actually rolled on with a fine foam roller. Since I don't make a lot of certain sizes, a poured glue contraption would be wasteful and time consuming. I roll three coats of the adhesive on each canvas. It goes on white and as soon as it sets up clear I roll on another coat. After the third coat is set up and allowed to dry a couple of hours, I'll apply the clear protective film. And it is ready to be packaged up and sent out.
This photo is of the two canvases I'm currently working on. I've got two more waiting until these are finished. I've applied the first coat of glue, that is why they look a little murky. As soon as they are set up, I'll apply the second coat. I'm hoping to have the black and white one ready to go out today, but I'm afraid, because of all of the rain we are getting, they won't set up fast enough.

And yes, that is a cat to the right of the table, and no, I don't get hairs in my glue. My girls as the best!! LOL

While I'm putting together the drills for one of the customs I'm getting ready to send out, I thought I'd take a minute and show how I package my drills.

Once I get the labels made up and the colors selected, I sort through every bag of color and make sure I get as many bad drills as possible and in the case with the #762 today, all the teeny-tiny beads. Once I get them sorted and packaged in their respective bags they are as clean as I can get them. The drills are also counted twice, once when pulling and again when putting them into bags, just to make sure I don't make a mistake as short any colors.

This custom is a black and white design so there are few colors, but quite a lot of drills for each color. There were ninety-one 200 count bags of #318 condensed down into one large bag.

The printing of the labels, sorting and bagging of the drills is the most time-consuming part of putting together a custom painting.

Goodness, I've been so busy, I haven't had a chance to post anything in ages! I hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful holiday season!
Today I will take the time to post something! This is a custom I did earlier this year of a painting that the customer's niece painted. I'm showing the original, the enhanced image I charted from and the charted design ready to print. the caption is the response I received when she received the kit.
