To New Believers & Christ Followers ...
Throughout Scripture, people remembered places of encounter with God.
Why?
Because remembering past faithfulness builds present confidence and faith. When difficult seasons come, you can look back and say:
> "God met me there."
> "God healed me there."
> "God spoke to me there."
> "God carried me there."
A place called "there" is a sacred because God meets people there.
Never Forget Your Encounters with God … they will give you hope when you feel like quitting.

To New Believers and Christ Followers ...
God is growing something in you…
It may start small…
But beneath the surface, roots are growing deep…
Your faith is getting stronger…
And in time … fruit will come.
It’s a process.

John Wesley, once said, “God does nothing but in answer to prayer, and everything by it.” That’s a powerful truth. We all believe God answers prayer—but the real question many carry is: Will God answer my prayer?
Here’s what we must understand: God has a perfect will for your life, but He will not force it. He responds to invitation. Prayer is that invitation—it gives God access to move in your situation.
The Seven Principles of Prayer remind us:
God works through divine principles… things don’t change unless there’s a reason… and prayer is what invites His supernatural intervention.
It may feel like nothing is shifting—but hear this: nothing changes until we pray.
The Bible says, “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” But as Pastor Bob Willhite said, “If you have enough faith to pray, you have enough faith to move the hand of God.”
So don’t hold back. Don’t doubt.
God hears you when you pray—and when you pray, things begin to change.

ENCOURAGE SOMEONE TODAY
We live in troubled times. Many people are quietly carrying heavy burdens—worry, stress, uncertainty, and fear. An anxious heart can weigh a person down more than we often realize.
But God has given every believer a powerful ministry: the ministry of encouragement.
The Bible says, “Encourage one another and build each other up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11
A simple faith-filled word, a moment of kindness, or a reminder that God is still with them can lift someone’s spirit more than you know. Your words can cheer up a weary heart and build up a struggling soul.
Speak life.
Speak hope.
Speak faith.
Your words might be the very thing God uses to lift someone's burden today.

Learning to Trust God
Your baptism was a public declaration of a private transformation. The old life has been buried. A new life has begun.
For a new believer, trusting God is something that grows over time. It begins with a simple decision: choosing to believe that God’s wisdom is better than our own.
Trusting God means placing your confidence in His character, His Word, and His guidance—even when you don’t fully understand everything yet.
A Simple Way to Think About Trust
Trusting God means saying:
“Lord, I may not understand everything yet, but I believe You know what is best, and I choose to follow You.”
As you walk with Christ day by day, your trust will grow stronger—and you will begin to see God directing your path.

Proverbs chapters 5, 6, and 7 give a powerful warning to young people about protecting their purity. God lovingly warns us about the dangers of sexual temptation and the regret that can follow when we ignore wise instruction.
Psalm 119:9 asks the question: “How can a young person stay on the path of purity?” The answer is simple—by living according to God’s Word.
In life, as I mentioned, we all learn from two teachers: wisdom and consequences. Wisdom listens to instruction and avoids harm. Consequences teach the hard lessons that come when we ignore truth.
There are also two pains in life: the pain of a disciplined, self controlled lifestyle and the pain of regret. Discipline may saying “No” may feel difficult for a moment, but regret can last a lifetime.
Proverbs 6 also reminds us that there are seven things the Lord hates, including pride, dishonesty, and hearts that plan wickedness. God calls us to something better—to a life that is pure, honorable, and guided by His truth.
The good news is this: God loves us deeply. When we choose to follow His Word, He protects our lives and our future.
Choose wisdom. Choose purity. Choose the path of life.

Your heart is the control center of your life. Your thoughts, your dreams, your attitudes, and even the words you speak all flow from what is stored inside your heart. Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” What fills your heart will eventually shape your life.
That’s why Scripture tells us to guard our hearts with all diligence. Be mindful of what you allow into your life—what you listen to, what you watch, and the influences you keep around you. These things quietly shape the condition of your heart.
A guarded heart stays close to God, fills itself with His Word, and chooses what is pure and life-giving. When your heart is healthy, your words, your choices, and your path in life will follow in the right direction.
Guard your heart today—because it determines the course of your life.

All the blessing of our Proverb today start with one priority:
Put God First.
When we lean only on our own understanding, we’re limited. But when we trust Him fully, we tap into divine wisdom. Trust shifts our decisions. Submission shapes our direction. Obedience builds our reputation.
God’s guidance produces stability.
God’s wisdom produces favor.
God’s leadership produces success that lasts.
Today, before you decide — pray.
Before you act — acknowledge Him.
Before you speak — seek His direction.
Put God First, and He will straighten what you cannot. That’s where true favor begins.
