Finished a tomahawk. The stone is Coal Creek Serpentine that I picked up in a creek as a rough stone. A rock found in only 2 of the 254 counties in Texas. The shine on the rock was achieved by hand wet sanding it to 12,000 grit sandpaper after shaping it. The handle is wild persimmon that I cut and shaped with a hatchet and hand plane, burnished with a torch, and rubbed with pure beeswax. The head is secured with rawhide and a small amount of epoxy. $125 shipped to CONUS.
