What a difference a few days make. This is Sea Spray on dark espresso cabinets. The client has struggled with not loving the counters, backsplash or the cabinets after buying the house. There was a white shiplap accent on the peninsula/bar area, and we thought about painting it the same color as the cabinets, but I asked if I could have fun and play a bit to see if I could tie all the colors in the kitchen together. ♥️ Everyone loved how this one turned out! “Wish it was mine” Wednesday…. How impressive is this cedar chest? The best part is that this was the client's grandmother's and he recalls it from his childhood. They intended to incorporate it into their newly renovated home but couldn't find an appropriate spot due to the darker wood finish.

Trust the process….. this weeks Cabinet makeover. This client disliked the cabinet stain color, she wasn’t happy with how the backsplash looked because the colors were just wrong with the “orange oak” and was considering changing the counters too along with new flooring….. I asked her to wait before she looked for a new backsplash….. my outcome for them was to like the backsplash, live with the current granite and make the cabinets a rich walnut brown that looked good with both and save a lot of money and a lot of mess!
“Outcome” achieved ! They love the new stain color and love how the backsplash complements the cabinets. The floor tile will be replaced in the near future, but in 3 days this kitchen looks so much better.

The fireplace is wondering: “Bright and cheery, or dark and dreary?”…… This house is set to hit the market in a few days….and the fireplace got a refresh with a “wash” effect that preserves the natural undertones of each rock.

These were 20 year old cabinets in an amazing home in the Shiloh Ridge Subdivision / Shiloh Ridge, Canton
Most of their lower cabinets were damaged by “something” including water and steam from the dishwasher and needed a refresh. These should be beautiful for another 20 years….
