As I reflect on my own self-improvement, I recognize the value of identifying areas for growth. Similarly, when I assess my home, I acknowledge the imperfections and envision the potential for improvement . Our family spends considerable time in our screen porch, and after careful consideration, I determined that it required some help. The white aluminum surrounding the windows had become an eyesore, consistently appearing dirty and yellowed from my husband's cigar smoke. Today, I took action to address this issue, and I am delighted with the results. I'm taking on a massive home renovation project for a client, which includes a full flooring overhaul, painting, cabinetry removal, new doors, and more. It all begins with working closely with the homeowner to bring their vision to life. From hiring the right team to selecting the perfect materials, there's so much that goes into it before the project even starts. But the transformation is already underway, and I'm excited to deliver on the homeowner's dark and moody aesthetic. When a friend buys a new house 5.5 hours from you and asks for your design help well of course you are going to accept. I spent many months planning each room from a distance through the use of the house plans for scale and photos. I sourced every stitch of furniture and decor for this property for the last 3-6 months long distance. The last 4 days I spent on site putting every room together. It was so great seeing my vision come to life for the home owner. Much love and work went into this project. So fantastic to see a house become a home. I wish the family nothing but the best memories in this space. Thanks for following JM Designs. Feel free to share with your followers.

I began work on this project some time ago and am progressing steadily. The homeowner had the flooring constructed from trees that he had cut on his property. Each beam used has a unique history as well. The living room features a fireplace, and the foyer and hallway have been enhanced with lighting and beams.
