💜 A LITTLE LONG, BUT PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE THE TIME… 💜
This is a long shot, and I know this is a longer post, but if you have a few minutes to read, I would truly appreciate it. 🥹❤️ I want to share with you what Varaquelli Bakes is all about and the dream behind it.
For those of you who may not know me yet, let me introduce you to VARAQUELLI BAKES! 💜
Many of you may have seen my posts, purchased my baked goods, or found me at farmers markets and events, but I wanted to share a little more about what Varaquelli Bakes is all about.
I started baking Filipino breads, pastries, and sweets because I haven’t been home since 2009, and I truly miss the treats and flavors I grew up with. Baking became a way for me to reconnect with home and bring a little taste of the Philippines to everyone here. 🇵🇭
And yes… many of you have asked if I have a bakery! 😅 I know I made a mistake on my banner, but Varaquelli Bakes is currently a home bakery. Everything is baked from home with lots of love, hard work, late nights, and a whole lot of learning along the way. ❤️
And just so you know… it is literally ONE baker behind all of this — ME! 🙋🏻♀️😂 From planning the menu, shopping for ingredients, preparing the dough, baking, decorating, packaging, posting, and bringing everything to farmers markets or events — I do it all!
But even though I’m the one doing the baking, I am not doing this journey alone. ❤️
Varaquelli Bakes is also part of a veteran family. I am not a veteran myself, but my husband is the veteran behind the baker. 🇺🇸 He has been incredibly supportive of me, my baking, and this crazy little dream of mine. He believes in me, encourages me, and supports me through all the late nights, early mornings, busy market days, and everything in between.
Unfortunately, I don’t have my own bakery shop yet, but that is one of my BIG dreams. My goal is to hopefully open my own bakery within the next 3–5 years, depending on how much Varaquelli Bakes grows.
And honestly, I can’t do it without you! 🥹💜
The more you support me, try my baked goods, come back for more, tell your friends and family, follow my page, and share my posts, the more you help me get closer to that dream.
If I one day have my own bakery shop, I would love to offer coffee and drinks to pair perfectly with Filipino breads, pastries, cinnamon rolls, and all the goodies I love making. ☕️🥐🍞
But until then, it’s going to be a long road, and I’m taking it one bake, one customer, and one farmers market at a time.
To everyone who has already supported me, continues to come back, recommends me to others, and gives me a chance even while I’m still learning — THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
