Back with part two of our paint finish guide! This time, we're going glossy. ✨

If you caught part one, you know the first three finishes lean more subtle. Now we're turning up the shine:

4. Semi-Gloss – High durability with a noticeable sheen. This one's a workhorse, perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, and heavily used trim. Easy to clean and moisture-resistant, it's practical without being overly flashy.

5. Gloss – Shiny, reflective, and dramatic. Best used sparingly, think doors, cabinetry, and accent furniture. It's incredibly durable and wipeable, but it will show every imperfection, so surface prep is non-negotiable.

6. High-Gloss – The diva of paint finishes. Mirror-like shine that makes a serious statement. Ideal for modern interiors, front doors, and architectural details you really want to pop. Not for the faint of heart, but absolutely stunning when done right.

We get asked all the time: “How did you make it look so effortless?” And the truth is? It wasn’t. It was hours of research, countless samples, endless measurements, and more than a few late nights debating the exact shade of white. 😅

Design isn’t just about picking pretty things, it’s about problem-solving. It’s about understanding how light moves through a room, how materials wear over time, and how a space needs to feel for the people living in it. Every finish, every fixture, every inch of millwork, it all got a vote, a conversation, and a reason.

So when you see the final reveal, know this: what looks simple took everything we had. And we’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. 💛
