This hits very close to home. I just visited with this community, at Avalon public library, last month. Wishing you the best during this emergency

AVALON OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT: DO NOT DRIVE IN AVALON UNTIL FLOOD WATERS RECEDE

The Avalon Office of Emergency Management is directing individuals not to drive in Avalon due to temporary, dangerous conditions caused by tidal flooding. Dozens of calls for service have come to our volunteer fire department from vehicles stranded in salt water. Do not enter Avalon as portions of Ocean and Dune drives are under salt water. Flooding will disappear in time, be patient and do not put yourself and our first responders at risk.

🎈❤️ SHE LIKED MY HAT SO MUCH… SHE DECIDED IT WAS HERS!

We had a wonderful time yesterday at Park Crest Health Care & Rehab, and this was one of my favorite moments of the day.

One of the residents took a liking to my colorful hat. She tried it on, gave us that beautiful smile—and apparently decided Mr. Zoom Balloons didn't need it anymore! 😂🎩

And you know what? Seeing that smile was worth losing a hat for!

This is one of the reasons I love what I do. The balloons, music, games and activities are important—but sometimes it's the unexpected little moments of laughter and connection that make a program memorable.

Thank you to the residents and staff at Park Crest for allowing me to be part of your celebration. You certainly made my day.

❤️ Sometimes spreading joy is as simple as sharing your hat.

— Earl Hicks / Mr. Zoom Balloons

P.S. I may have to start bringing two hats to my programs from now on! 😂🎩🎈

🌸❤️ FLOWERS SHOW LOVE… BUT WHAT IF YOUR GIFT COULD KEEP GROWING?

Two weeks ago, these beautiful purple flowers brought color and joy into a home. Today, their petals are drooping, and their beauty is fading.

That's the nature of fresh-cut flowers. We enjoy them, appreciate them, and eventually say goodbye.

But imagine giving someone a little living world that continues to grow long after the special occasion has passed. 🌿

That's the beauty of a terrarium!

A properly built and cared-for closed terrarium can thrive for years, becoming a lasting reminder of the person who gave it.

Birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, or simply saying, "I'm thinking of you."

Flowers are a beautiful expression of love. A terrarium offers another way to express that love—one that can keep growing.

❤️ Some gifts fade. Others flourish!

🌱 Here's a question for you: Would you rather receive a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers or a living terrarium that you could enjoy for years?

🌿❤️ LITTLE HANDS, BIG SMILES, AND A WHOLE LOT OF LOVE!

There's something special about introducing children to the wonderful world of terrariums!

Look at these two young nature lovers proudly showing off their little living ecosystem. 🌱

A terrarium is more than just plants inside a glass jar. It's an opportunity to explore nature, discover how plants grow, and experience the joy of caring for something living.

And when children share that experience, they're creating memories that can last a lifetime.

Who knows? We may be looking at two future botanists, scientists, or terrarium artists! 🔬🌿

At Terrarium Building 101 LOL, we believe that a little bit of nature can inspire a whole lot of wonder—at any age.

❤️ Let's keep spreading the love, one terrarium at a time!

💬 Here's a question for everyone: What was the first plant you remember growing or caring for as a child?

Share your memories in the comments!
