Hey y’all! I’m canceling the Beginner Workshop for this Saturday and next. No one signed up so it’s canceled. I’ll do another one next month.

I’m making calls scheduling people for the Jelly roll Rug classes. If you’re interested in one of those please let me know. I’ve already got a list of 10 people.

My son, Brendan, wants to do a class for wine/mead making. I’ll have more info on that tomorrow.

Don’t forget about the QUILT OF THE MONTH! One lucky winner will receive their quilting of their top for free! Stop by or call us to get you pattern and/or kit soon! Deadline for entries is July 9th!

I’ve worked all afternoon trying to get a newsletter completed to email everyone I have in our database but am having trouble with it. Think I’ll have to do it another way. In the mean time, here is what it ended up being. Thank you all once again for your support. Our goal is to serve our stitching and crafting community as best as we can.

SUNKISSED BLOCK OF THE MONTH

Wednesday, June 10 • 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Join us as we continue our beautiful Sunkissed quilt journey!

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR MONTH ONE

Required:

• Month One fabric kit

• Sewing machine

• Rotary cutter

• Cutting mat

• Thread

• Bobbins

• Needles

• Scissors

• Clips or pins

• Quilting ruler

Optional:

• Iron

• Ironing mat

• Starch

Suggested:

• Marking pencil or fabric pen

• Sticky note pad for labeling cuts

All supplies are available at Tee's Quilting Barn if you need anything before class.

QUILT OF THE MONTH

Our current Quilt of the Month pattern is Tumbling Triangles by Fabric Café.

• Use your favorite colors or shop one of our kit options.

• Complete your quilt top and submit a photo by July 9.

• All completed quilt tops will be entered into a drawing for FREE quilting of that quilt top!

OPEN SEW DAY & SEW FOR HUGS FROM TEXAS

Friday, June 12

Bring your current project, sewing machine, and enjoy a day of stitching with friends.

Stay for an hour or all day as we sew items to support a wonderful cause. Every stitch helps!

BEGINNER QUILTING WORKSHOP

June 13 & June 20

Learn quilting basics while creating a beautiful table runner! $180 includes everything except Sewing machine. Space is limited and colors vary.

JELLY ROLL RUG CLASS — $30

Morning Session

• June 24 | 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

• July 1 | 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Afternoon Session

• June 24 | 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM

• July 1 | 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM

One:

Piece your jelly roll and create the fabric rope.

Session Two:

Begin constructing your oval rug.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

• Sewing machine with straight stitch and zigzag capability

• Jelly Roll

• 2¼" × 50-foot batting roll

• Clover Tube Maker

• Polyester thread

• Denim needles

• Bobbins

• Seam ripper and/or stiletto

• Scissors or rotary cutter with mat

All supplies are available for purchase at Tee's Quilting Barn, or you are welcome to bring your own.

Message, call or text if you’re in! If you want to purchase a kits, they’re available in the store or can be mailed out. Cost is around $34 depending on the fabric in the kit. Let me know which one you want or if you’ll be using your own fabric! Can’t wait to see them all!
