For those of you that haven't visited the Huntington library and gardens in San Marino, Ca recently. The gardens and conservatories are filled with georgousness on full display, the Aloes, Clivias, and so many interesting plants were blooming.  We had a few free hours and didn't even step foot into a gallery. Definitely need to plan the whole day there.

I want to wish everyone a Healthy and Happy New Year. I'm thankful for what we have and making the best of it. This years party is smaller, 3, but no less fun and special. I made the container from repurposed coiled strips of mylar bubble wrap insulation.
Mom wanted Greek food to remind her of a magical trip we took to Santorini. The table is more NYE rather than taverna.  So I'm making courses of Mezze. Dolmas, taramasalata, beets with Skordalia, grilled Octopus (sorry my octopus teacher),  Gigantes, Saganaki with fresh Greek pita. For the main course, a favorite from the georgous fish taverna in Santorini, Katinia's Lobster pasta. It won't be the same as sitting on the edge of the water, but for now the closest that we can get. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!

Our final Christmas dinner before we leave the West coast. With a theme of icy lemons.
Lemon print napkins, with Bronnley lemon soap favor placecards, on a mirror mosaic tabletop. And to finish off the dinner the most delicious individual lemon meringue custard tarts and lemoncello.

Our final Christmas decoration install this year in Montecito yesterday. With limited access to International air travel this year,  our client asked to add a bit of Tuscan flavor to the decor. We created an Italian farmers market theme. Solvang Bakery created georgous Tuscan gingerbread houses.

Our final Christmas decoration install this year in Montecito yesterday. With limited access to International air travel this year,  our client asked to add a bit of Tuscan flavor to the decor. The coffee table piece featured golden pasta, boiled wool mushrooms, pincones, pine, artichokes, and Senecio 'Angel Wings'.

With the lighter load this year, we are actually enjoying decorating this Christmas season.
Yes this is me on the "this is not s step, step" on the top of the ladder. We wove georgous braided silk upholstery trim in the magnolia garlands. On the mantle we added our handmade raffia ropes into the magnolia garlands
