Why I Use a Maintenance Program 👀🏠

With my maintenance program, I don’t use pressure anymore. Instead, I come out to your house four times a year and treat it with a bleach mixture, along with other detergents and cleaning solutions.
Our customers are happy, and they’re saving a ton of money by keeping their homes maintained regularly. 🙌

Check This Out Real Quick 👀

I’m doing a maintenance clean on this house. I sprayed this section with bleach, but I did not spray this section.
It might be hard to tell at first, but look at how much brighter this section is compared to this one! ✨🏠
Just a simple side-by-side difference from the treatment.

How Often Do We Clean? 🏠✨

Concrete actually gets cleaned four times a year, while everything else gets cleaned at least once a year.
If it’s part of your home and it’s included in the maintenance program, we clean it! 🙌

Why Is It Important to Keep Your Roof Clean? 🏠

Gloeocapsa magma is a type of bacteria that can contribute to damage on your shingles over time.
It can also make the roof dangerous for anyone who needs to work on it because it becomes very slippery when wet.
And, of course, those dark streaks are not exactly the best look for your home.
Insurance companies are also becoming more strict about dirty roofs, so keeping your roof clean and maintained is important.

Take a Look at These Dark Streaks 👀

See these really dark streaks here and here?
Those are heavy deposits of Gloeocapsa magma, but the entire roof is covered by it.
Here’s another great example: really dark on this side, but not on this side.
This is a north-facing slope, while this is a south-facing slope. ☀️🏠

Here’s Why You Need to Be Washing Your Roof 👀🏠

Roof washing involves spraying a bleach mixture with special detergents and soaps onto the roof to kill Gloeocapsa magma.
And this roof is a great example of what that looks like.
Stay tuned for Part 2 to see just how much of the roof is covered by it!

Here’s What I Use Instead 👀

For this driveway, I’m using a soft wash treatment as part of the maintenance program.
This is the customer’s third treatment, and look at the difference between this approach and the pressure-washed surface from Part 1. ✨
The goal is to treat the surface without leaving those pressure-washing swirl marks behind.

💦 Different method, different result.

See Those Swirl Marks? 👀

Look closely at this concrete. See those swirl marks?
This type of pattern can be left behind by a surface cleaner when pressure washing isn’t done properly.
This is one of the many reasons I don’t use traditional pressure washing for my maintenance program.

👀 Stay tuned for Part 2 to see what I use instead!
