This is why we LOVE what we do.

There is just something so special about helping a customer find the perfect pieces for their home—and then getting a picture like THIS!

This beautiful statement vase left Charlie Rae’s fully styled with all of these gorgeous stems, and seeing it in its new home absolutely made my day. The scale, the colors, the textures…it was meant for this space.

Sometimes you don’t need to change an entire room. You just need that one statement piece that brings everything together.

Christmas is officially DEFROSTING here at Charlie Rae’s! 🎄

The boxes just keep pouring in, and our little elves are busy behind the scenes unpacking, tagging and getting everything ready for what is going to be such a FUN holiday season!

Can you believe it’s already SEPTEMBER?! And can you believe Charlie Rae’s is celebrating TWO YEARS?! 💚

If you’re new to our page—or maybe you’ve been following along but don’t quite know the story behind Charlie Rae’s—I thought this would be the perfect time to share a little bit about how it all began.

What started as an idea for the next chapter of my life has turned into something I’m incredibly proud of. Charlie Rae’s has become so much more than a store. It’s a place to gather, find inspiration, make connections, and hopefully feel a little bit like you’re walking into a friend’s home.

And NONE of it would be possible without all of you.

To every person who has walked through our doors, shopped small, attended an event, brought a friend, shared a post, told someone about us, or simply cheered us on—THANK YOU.

Two years of Charlie Rae’s… and we’re just getting started. 🤍

Oh my goodness, can we talk about how much fun we had at Charlie Rae’s this weekend?!

Saturday morning, 30 ladies joined us for a workout, with Pure Barrel West Des Moines. The rain may have changed our plans, but it certainly didn’t stop us! We moved everything into the greenhouse, and these ladies were such great sports. We worked out, laughed, and made the best of it. It was so fun seeing the greenhouse already being used and enjoyed.

And just wait until you see this little greenhouse when it’s finished!

On Sunday, Matt and I were back at it. We finished the trim work, installed the fans, and checked a few more things off our list. Little by little, my vision for this space is coming together.

I cannot wait for you to see it all finished and, even more, for all the fun things we have planned for this space at Charlie Rae’s!

Stop into Charlie Rae’s, pick out your favorite fall candle, and consider this your official permission to start decorating for FALL! 😉

Grab the pumpkin latte, head home, light that candle, tell Alexa to play Michael Bublé, and start pulling out those pumpkins. 🎃

There’s just something about changing your home with the seasons that makes it feel a little extra special.
