The Rock Paper Scissors Studio

The Rock Paper Scissors Studio Serving the Rock of Ages through my love of paper crafting! I love creating things for others---handmade cards, scrapbooks, small gifts of appreciation, etc.

I also enjoy teaching others to do the same. Being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator lets me do both things at the same time :)

Today we combined a technique we shared at the beginning of of the month with the Far Away Landscapes. We inked an acrylic block, spritzed it with water and stamped on the cardstock to create this distressed looking watercolor background. Once it dried we stamped the images and a small sentiment on each card. We kept it monochromatic and the cards coordinate, so we can add envelopes, tie them up with a ribbon and make a fun gift to share. ❤️

Any of these landscape stamps will work perfectly for this technique. We'll share another project tomorrow using this stamp set!

This week for National Craft Month we’re showing a variety of ways to use a single stamp set -- Far Away Landscapes. The first project went out to our email subscribers yesterday. Our second project is my favorite with this set. That’s probably because it includes some of my favorite fur babies. ❤️ Don’t forget to use those stamps on your scrapbook pages. This eclipse technique turned out just like I envisioned!
