Since graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, she has helped her clients design every space of the home, but specializes in kitchen and bath design, and has a passion for custom cabinetry. For Jessica, the most rewarding aspect of her career has been creating spaces for her clients though thoughtful space planning, solving functional issues, and pulling together the perfect mater

Proof that small changes make a huge difference! In this space, we kept the wood cabinetry but changed out the countertops and backsplash as well as added in a more modern looking hood. These three elements lighten up the space and highlight the beautiful wood cabinetry. What was outdated and dark is now modern and bright.

🚨New Project Alert🚨

We are transforming this outdated kitchen into a space that maximizes storage and increases efficiency.

We are doing this by adding in more functional appliances- cooktop and microwave & oven combo, and a dishwasher that this kitchen previously didn't have.

We're enlarging the island to create more work surface and storage.

We are adding cabinetry along a previously underutilized wall that will be perfect for a coffee bar and additional storage

We've also brought the cabinets all the way up to the ceiling.

With this new layout, the homeowners will have the storage that they need and a kitchen that functions for the way they live.

Yes, that is all the same view!

We removed a wall between the kitchen and what was the formal dining room to create a large open space with room for a bigger window over the sink, a large island and walk in pantry (nestled in the room behind the island)

We brightened up the space by choosing lighter finishes and incorporating strategically placed recessed lights, pendants over the island, and sconces over the windows.

Here is a peek at some of my favorite cabinet accessories. If you were to have your dream kitchen designed, what type of storage accessories would you choose?

I like to incorporate tried and true solutions into every kitchen such as-
Trash Pullout
Rollout Trays
Tray Dividers
Deep Drawers
Spice Storage

If there is room for more, I love a mixer lift, utensil pullout, and deep drawers for pots and pans or dishware.

When we work together to design your kitchen, we will take the time to talk through how you use your space, what works and what doesn't and discuss all of your must haves and wish list items. The plan that we come up with will be as functional as it is beautiful.

It's the warmth of the wood that is 🤌

This is a perfect example of how to mix woods in a space. We used a warm medium brown stain on alder cabinetry and paired it with a light natural white oak flooring. They complement each other well because they both have warm undertones and the grain of the woods don't compete with each other.

A white countertop and backsplash were the perfect selections to drive home the modern feel the homeowners were after. Tie it all together with black and stainless accents and we have a modern, clean, yet warm feeling kitchen.
