For more than two decades, the Fried Green Tomato Festival has welcomed visitors from near and far to the historic railroad town of Juliette, Georgia, for a celebration of Southern hospitality, community spirit, and small-town charm.

Threadgoode’s General Mercantile honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Today, we remember their courage, their dedication, and the freedoms they helped protect.

As we gather with loved ones this Memorial Day, we pause in gratitude for those who gave everything for our nation and for the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

From all of us at Threadgoode’s General Mercantile, thank you to our fallen heroes. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

So we did a thing… we are excited to be able to offer embroidered items at the store and embroidery service to our customers! We will start posting new items to this page!
