🌩️A weather update from Flowers For You 🌩️

It looks like Mother Nature may have some plans of her own today, with the potential for severe weather in our area.

If you’re needing flowers today, we kindly ask that you place your orders as early as possible. If the weather worsens and the sirens sound, we will be closing and heading home. The safety of our employees and families will always come first.

We appreciate your understanding more than you know. Thank you for always supporting our little flower shop, showing us so much love, and allowing us to do what we love every single day. We truly couldn’t do it without this amazing community.

Stay safe, keep an eye on the weather, and we’ll be here as long as it’s safe to do so.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the kiddos who came out to color our sidewalks last week.

The rain may have washed away every flower, rainbow, heart, and masterpiece… but for a little while, our sidewalk was absolutely beautiful. 💕

Seeing so many little artists stop by, laugh, create, and leave a little happiness behind was exactly what we hoped for.

Thank you for helping us make our little corner of town just a little brighter.

If you’ve noticed we’ve been a little quieter on social media lately… this is why.

Summer adventures have officially begun!

So far, Savannah has explored the Des Moines Zoo, Hannibal Caves, and now Mammoth Cave… and somehow it’s only June. We still have so many adventures planned before school starts back.

These slow summer months are something I never take for granted. They’re the reason I work so hard the rest of the year.

Thank you for supporting our little flower shop. Every bouquet, every plant, every candle, every share, every kind word… it all adds up to moments like these.

Because of you, I get to spend these summers making memories with my little girl instead of wishing I had the time.

✨ Calling all little artists! ✨

We’ve got the chalk out and ready to go!

Stop by Flowers For You today between 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and let your kiddos help us decorate the sidewalk for Friday’s Flag Day Parade! Draw stars, flags, hearts, flowers… whatever makes them smile.

The first 15 kiddos who stop by during open hours (10 AM-4 PM) and show us their sidewalk masterpiece will receive a FREE carnation to take home!

No purchase necessary—just bring your imagination and have a little fun with us!

We can’t wait to see all of the creativity our community has to share. See you soon!

Psssstttt… we are looking for some kiddos to draw stars on our sidewalk in front of the shop for Fridays Flag Day parade. I’ll provide chalk, you bring the littles.

Stop by tomorrow (Wednesday) during open hours, the first 15 littles will receive a FREE carnation. Just come in and show me what you drew for us.
