I love to work with people who have lots of ideas for their home but need them whittled down to what works and what doesn't, and then help to make it happen. Ergonomics is my thing so I also work with individuals with needs that are not met with standard design. This includes wheelchair users, vision/audio challenges and those who just want a home that is open to all.

My final major remodel has officially wrapped, and I truly could not have picked a better client for my farewell project. It was a bittersweet experience; as the job came to a close, I found myself reflecting on all the years and the wonderful people that brought me to this moment.

While a few small decorative projects remain, this was the last home I will ever tear apart. I will miss this work dearly, but the time has come for a new chapter, one filled with relaxation, family, and the kind of travel I’ve only ever dreamed of. Mahalo for the memories.

The initial images of this home clearly highlight the necessity for renovation. Every area was addressed, with an extension added to elevate the ceiling, allowing for views of the Kawainui Marsh, alongside a covered lanai. This project earned us an award of honor, and we believe that the distinctive kitchen and ohia pole were the standout elements that captivated the judges.

This undertaking was introduced to me by my assistant designer, who had been collaborating with me for roughly a year. The residence in question belongs to her family; it was constructed by her grandfather and is now home to her parents and her young family. Despite its age and lack of modern functionality, they were reluctant to alter it, cherishing its appearance and the fact that it was crafted by their ancestors.

So, what happens when a client finds it hard to make a decision? They enlist the help of a neutral party: the interior designer! My assistant created the stunning open pantry, which I envy greatly, and we repurposed the framework that supports the floating cabinets above the cooktop, commissioning custom cabinetry reminiscent of the original design.

All three generations are thrilled with the outcome.

We were brought in on this project when the clients lovely Diamond Head home had leaky pipes under the master bedroom and bathroom! An otherwise gorgeous space had to be completely gutted. The end result, we are proud to say surpassed the client's expectations and actually allowed for a bigger shower and additional storage.

This townhouse situated on Koko Isle Circle features a lanai, a compact dock, and breathtaking vistas. However, the bedrooms were strategically located at the rear, hindering visibility and natural light in the kitchen and dining areas upon entry. The previously obstructed views are now clearly visible. Additionally, we meticulously designed and coordinated a vibrant television area that prominently displays a collection of wooden and glass bowls. Furthermore, our transformation of a once-uninspiring bathroom into a contemporary sanctuary, complete with dual sinks, was a big hit.
