Designing a home is about compiling a series of special moments.

When building out these spaces, our goal was balance. We paired heavy architectural wood beams and raw consoles with delicate, organic branches and soft textiles.

Even the transition spaces, like the stair landing and entryways, received their own special moments to ensure the visual story never stops.

The secret to rustic elegance is designing a space where every detail works together perfectly.

The warmth of this room builds from the ground up, starting with a custom wormwood front door and rare, solid oak flooring.

To create a sense of cohesion, we ran seamless tongue-and-groove wood from the ceilings straight down the walls, beautifully framing the texture of the stone fireplace.

The furniture strategy was entirely intentional. Instead of competing with the architecture, the understated pieces are styled to gently guide your eyes through the space, keeping the focus exactly where it belongs: on that incredible mountain view.

Welcome to the heart of Whisper Mountain. Every detail in this kitchen was thoughtfully curated to balance refined mountain living with timeless, artisan textures.

Here is how the layer of materials came together:

Every material was chosen to create contrast and calm — rugged stone, cloud-like limewash walls, and rich blue velvet layered together for a space that feels timeless, grounded, and intentionally restorative.

It’s not the room size...it’s the ex*****on.
One of the most common mistakes I see in new builds is hanging window treatments directly above the frame. It cuts the room in half and stops the eye.

To achieve that elevated, custom feel:

Go High: Install your rod 4–6 inches below the ceiling (or crown molding) to draw the eye upward.
Go Wide: Extend the rod 10-12” past the window on each side so the fabric doesn’t block your natural light.
