Part 3 finally some of the behind the scenes videos from Brittney & Kai’s wedding day! Lots of problem solving, waiting on elevators, and running up and down stairs not shown. But hopefully you can see a glimpse of the warmth and happiness on their day 🥰🥰🥰

PART 2 I’m sorry it took me so long to get the next installment of this series edited, I just couldn’t find a quiet spot to record the voiceover 😂 but so happy to share another part of the process of one of the busiest wedding weeks ever!!! 🌸🌸🌸

PART 1–Voiceovers have returned 😂 I had multiple wedding orders, each with a different theme/color palette, and all impacted by the aftermath of back to back hurricanes. While everything seemed to come at me at once, the timing actually couldn’t have been more perfect. Long days driving around the island sourcing flowers, long nights designing in my living room, and taking advantage of new opportunities all ended up working out for the best, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Smile Now, Bloom Later 🎭 Oahu Florist 🎭🌺🌹🌼

Just like that, my living room floor is covered with flowers and foliage again (I just got done carrying everything up 2 flights of stairs, ok? 😂) just starting to work on the arrangements for this week’s Smile Now, Bloom Later 🎭 Oahu Florist wedding, featuring (mostly) local flowers and foraged greenery, plus a rainbow of all different kinds of orchids 🪏✂️🌿 this might be one of the most colorful, vibrant tropical weddings I’ve ever done 🌺🐠🌴🦜

I haven’t really been posting aside from my stories for so long, but I have so much to share! Bear with me while I try to catch up on editing pictures and videos, and for now, take a look at this completely custom bridal lei from last weekend 🥰🥰🥰 (and ignore the floral glue on my arm 😂)

Update: roses are processed and will hopefully open up a little more for tomorrow. Wind and rain starting to come down kinda hard. My legs and feet are covered in mud. Shop is mostly cleaned up but still some storm prep to be done. But for now, I’m going home 😮‍💨🌧️🧹🫧🏝️

09/07/2026

I have 5 bunches of roses that I have to finish processing for the next wedding coming up…but they’ll have to wait 😅 there’s still so much to clean from yesterday, and maybe even more flooding to come 🥀keep Hawai’i in your prayers, the storms just keep coming
