Another collection of collaborative work with V E A K drops this Saturday at the Duet Fair! Here are some of our favorites from our last clay___mates collection. The kiln is getting loaded this week and only time will tell what kinds of lovely wares we’ll have this weekend. Hope to see you 💌

Duet Fair: Saturday October 10 11-4 in the Duet parking lot 517 E. 18th Street KCMO

I asked V E A K for some water tumblers because I love drinking an ice cold cuppa water out of her tall cups and lucky us she delivered 💧💧💧 just in time for our next event Duet 10/10❕❕

One of my favorite projects from this summer, thanks to IIDA Mid-America for inviting me to create lapel pins commemorating the membership milestones within the organization. I loved the idea of making something small that could mark something much bigger. Years of work, connection, and being part of a dedicated community.

I’m about to glaze these pots all weekend. The newest clay___mates collaboration with V E A K is coming in October. She makes them, I glaze them, we both get to do our favorite part of the process. What a win!

You can shop these pieces in person Duet on October 10 (Duet Fair!), and online at a date after that! We are making a lot of work for both of these events so come see! ✨

I drank out of this mug on Monday and I can confirm it’s a good one. It feels good, and it looks good. V E A K and I are collaborating on another exciting collection of things, popping up in October at our studio for the Duet Fair!

This summer was beautiful and brutal in many ways and I’m learning how to hold space for both 🤍

Three years ago, I became an author.

I poured so much of myself into this book. Years of experience, mistakes, experiments, lessons, and an honestly wild amount of work. Writing a book is one of those things that feels impossible while you’re doing it, and then somehow, one day, you’re holding the finished thing in your hands.

And then comes the part no one really prepares you for: hoping people will find it. Hoping it will make its way into the hands of the person who needs it. Hoping all those years of work continue to have a life beyond the day it was published.

So in celebration of its third birthday, I’m offering free shipping on all online orders this weekend. If you’ve been thinking about buying one, this is your little nudge. 🤍

Every single book order still means something to me. Truly. It supports my work as an artist, but more than that, it means this thing I worked so hard to create gets to keep finding its way into the world.

And if you already own a copy, thank you for being part of this story. ✨

New things that came from my heart and my hands are now on my studio shelves and also on my website and they could soon be in your heart and hands and on your shelves ✨ (I like a run on sentence)
