Oracle, is a Natural Science shop, since 2013, featuring framed insects, bones, unusual taxidermy, beautiful memento mori pieces, and oddities. We strive to acquire ethical taxidermy and share a passion for the unique and strange side of the natural world. It’s a beautiful day at the shop ✨ With FIFA in Kansas City next month, our shop hours are not changing and Oracle is going to be open as usual! We will be hosting one summer solstice event with but with Night Market on 18th st, other amazing art block parties and new shop openings, we will be excited to celebrate Kansas City’s art scene alongside you. What I love most about our city is our celebration of the arts and wanting to support local - we are artists ourselves and trying to lead with that in mind as well in the studio; carrying all handmade, small batch, directly from the artists works - and not to mention most of our artists are women-led or lgbtq ✨

Bug Club ships out this weekend - our four month subscription where you learn how to pin your own specimens at your own pace and provided all the tools and materials to build your new hobby 🪲 coming up to the summer, I love to find natural passed specimens on my hikes or in my garden and know how to preserve and keep them in a nature diary. A beautiful way to take time to appreciating nature but especially all the insects/bugs/butterflies/arachnids as such a crucial part of our ecosystem.
