Anyone remember Jerry's Cafe on Woodswether Road in the West Bottoms?
Several years ago they moved to Overland Park and is now owned by one of the Chefs.
The cafe is quite small, has the same ambience, and the food is still great!!
They also have wonderful, chef-inspired specials!
Probably want to check them out... 103rd and State Line, next door to Jasper's.

Thought to give a shout out for Scraps KC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit creative reuse center and retail store.

Donated items are sold for pennies on the dollar.
Donations are also used for their programs and workshops for creative and educational purposes by artists, teachers, children, and other creative-minded individuals

On top of all this, they also provide volunteer opportunities to the homeless and provide meals in exchange for their hard work.

Thanks to all that attended the Waldo Antiques Alumni yard sale!
Lots of items found new homes.
If you missed it, not to worry as a few of the other Alumni dealers heard about it and another yard sale is being organized.

There’s going to be lots of fun items, both old and new. Not to mention a crafters paradise!

Tons of old comic books, vintage jewelry, new jewelry, fun embroidered handbags/backpacks, gorgeous glass spa/pedicure bowl, large leather hides, whimsical fabric pieces, nice lamps, vases, artwork, vintage Tupperware pieces, and even a pond liner!

For the crafters, loads of crystal beads ($1/strand), jade beads ($2/strand), colorful feathers (10 for $1.00), European upholstery trims, designer showroom fabric samples, seriously large bolts of trim.
