𝗠𝘆 𝗪𝗵𝘆… 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗢𝗧𝗦

Why would I start and build this?

I’ve been an entrepreneur and involved in the Kansas City entrepreneurial community for over seven years. Along the way, I’ve learned, grown, and been fortunate to connect with incredible people and organizations like UMKC, KCSourceLink, and many others.

But I’ve also seen a gap.

We talk a lot about 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 businesses. We talk about 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 them. But what about everything in between?

What happens after you get started but don’t know what’s next? What about the entrepreneur who is developing, rebuilding, changing direction, or simply standing at a crossroads?

That’s where EOTS came from.

After learning more about Rotary and its commitment to community impact, I realized this could be more than another entrepreneurship event. It could be a way to intentionally connect people with the 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 they need to take their next step.

Because with all the talent, resources, technology, and opportunity we have in Kansas City, I believe we can do better.

For months, I’ve worked alongside some incredible people to bring this vision to life.

EOTS is my call to our community to stop making just splashes and start making 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 — waves that lift one another, create opportunities, and help all of us reach new heights.

Someone told me recently:

“𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲.”

I think the same applies to our lives, careers, businesses, and communities.

Don’t just have a good one.

𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁.
