Wow, what a fast response on bubble wrap! We are out for now, but we will continue to post when we have bags for the taking!

Since you were all so responsive to our last post, we have a proposition to make. We are looking for someone to come in on a regular cadence (weekly, monthly, etc... whatever works best for you) to take mixed metal, mainly aluminum, for proper recycling.

The process is simple, but a little time consuming (which is why we would love someone else to take this on): remove the fabric/material from the metal components, leave us with the shade material to dispose of, and you recycle the metal. It’s a great way to make a little extra money from the scrap value while helping us keep usable materials out of the trash and recycle the way we should.

We spend a lot of time driving. A LOT. One of the coolest parts of bringing our showroom to so many in-home consultations, other than all of our amazing customers, is getting to explore all kinds of awesome places and hidden gems along the way. And oftentimes, our customers are the ones pointing us in the right direction. Today, we finally followed the little “Berry Pies” sign over Manning Hill in Wi******er that we’ve passed a hundred times.

Turns out, there ARE pies up there. And jams. And seasonal baked goodies. And sometimes even popsicles! Cheshire Garden's Tiny Farmstand is absolutely adorable and stocked full of yummy treats. We can’t wait to dig into our berry pie and enjoy our Friday afternoon.
