**Luxe Assemblage Art.**
For me, collecting is only the beginning.
One of the things I love most about working with antique and vintage jewelry is seeing beyond what a piece once was and understanding how its history, craftsmanship, patina, and character might come together in an entirely new way.
This necklace began as a remarkable collection of equestrian treasures spanning, likely, from the **1860s through the 1960s**. At its heart is an antique watch chain with extraordinary **horse-hoof-shaped stations**, combined with antique horseshoe watch fobs, sterling silver charms, and a beautiful antique mother-of-pearl horse head watch fob.
Individually, each piece carries its own story. Together, they become something singular.
This is what I call **Luxe Assemblage Art** — original works created from carefully sourced antique and vintage elements, selected for their beauty, history, craftsmanship, and character, then brought together through a modern point of view.
The result is wearable art: deeply rooted in the past, but entirely new in its final form.
And perhaps the most extraordinary part is that **it cannot truly be duplicated**. Another piece may be inspired by it, but this particular combination of materials, age, patina, scale, and history exists only once.
This week, I’ll be bringing this piece — along with more Luxe Assemblage Art — to **Brimfield**, where so many of these stories begin: in the fields, tents, and dealer markets where extraordinary old objects are discovered, collected, and sometimes given an entirely new life.
**Antique treasures. Singular works of wearable art.**
