I made these valentine friends last year and never did anything with them. This year they just seem to have more symbolism than anticipated. Excuse my voice. I have a cold. But I didn’t Not want to post this. I certainly needed a bear hug yesterday and need to remind myself to be courageous and not complicit. Maybe these posts are just for me. Maybe not. Either way, prayers for peace.

Here he is! He’s a monster at 52” tall and 31” wide. I wish I’d gotten some more photos before the install and with me next to it for scale. But I didn’t. Trim will be added later. You can see how the light changes the bird (swipe to compare) so he can be viewed at different times for different looks.

A huge thank you to and for trusting me with this project. Also a huge thanks to Brandon for helping me install this beast. And a sincere thank you to the clients who moved from Florida and left a stained glass heron behind and wanted a new one to love. I hope they do!

After a very challenging 2025, this is a very positive start to what I hope will be a great 2026. Thank you to those that followed along. These posts are for you. I’m truly grateful for your interest and support. Sending everyone lots of love, gratitude and prayers for peace.

This was a super fun window to make for my dear friend and her super cute self-designed bathroom. She’s been so encouraging and a great supporter of my work. Thanks Elizabeth!

My most difficult repair yet. This sentimental piece was in a house fire. You can see the smoke soot and where it broke when the firefighters were working. I pretty much had to remake the middle. I learned A TON with this one. But am overall very pleased. The client is rebuilding and planning a spot for this piece her mother made. I’m so happy she will be able to enjoy it again.

Personal update: I’m progressing. Regaining use of my left side. Still fighting numbness and tingling but have strength, mobility and speech. Thank the heavens. PSA: manage your blood pressure

This year has…well, sucked. Not really the thing to post at Thanksgiving but it’s true. Due to some personal circumstances I’ve had to cancel my holiday markets. I will be taking the remainder of the year off as well as some time into the new year. I do want to turn it positive and thank all of you who support my creative efforts and follow along. I appreciate your patience this year and hope to be teaching and creating again soon. I hope you have a lovely holiday season. All the best! Love you!
