I'm so excited to start my next series! This is the test piece. This series will be called "Dance with Me" Laying the paint to represent a head, body, arms, and legs. This is a smaller canvas than what the series will be done on but it's really close to what I want and know the adjustments needed to achieve it. What y'all think? Should I stick with a white base with all of them? #1 reds with a little orange and yellow #2 purples #3 blues and greens #4 all colors. All with gold and a splash of black & white for depth and highlights. I also tested using only paint and water with this one, not really my thing as I can get more options and reactions using a medium.

I'm so happy with this trio! Dot work takes a long time but the results are so satisfying 😊 The scarlet base one (14x14) is freaking gorgeous but I adore the simplicity of the phthalo blue base one (12x12) with the minimal delicate dotting and nearly perfect center dots 💙💙💙

Learned so much with each one and really enjoyed the process 🥰

Main lesson learned from this creation, it helps to wait for the blended base to dry before doing the paint smash.

Love working on a round canvas! These range in size, 8-16 inches. Smaller ones are great for filling a small space but a 16 inch would make for a wonderfully unique focal point.
