Sitting at the airport waiting, I spent some time responding to Google reviews and found myself stopping after a few because it honestly hit me just how grateful I am.
Reading through the comments and seeing people talk about the food, the portions, the service, and the experience we’ve created is something I don’t take for granted. What started as an idea and a passion for sharing island-inspired food has grown into something people are genuinely excited about, and that’s an incredible feeling as a small business owner.
Seeing 24 reviews and every single one of them being 5 stars is humbling. Not because of the number itself, but because every review represents someone who chose to support us, gave us a chance, and then took time out of their day to share their experience.
To everyone who has stopped by for a plate, shared a post, told a friend, left a review, or supported us in any way—mahalo. None of this is possible without you. These reviews remind me that we’re bringing something exciting to the Tri-Cities, and that means the world to me.
We’re still growing, still learning, and still working every week to be better than we were the week before. But moments like this remind me that we’re on the right path.
We’ve missed serving you all this week, and I can’t wait to get back home, fire up the grill, and get back to doing what we love. We’ll see you Friday. 🤙🏽🔥
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
