We did it, Joe😅

The last day of year 4 at Wisconsin State Fair is here, and as always its bittersweet🥹

It takes a very specific kind of crazy to live this entrepreneurial life, but I wouldn't trade it for the world💯. Although this is the first year that I've done the fair by myself, my customers and community made sure I was never alone🙏🏾💚

Despite weather concerns, you all sought me out, made sure I was fed and hydrated, shopped, vibed out to my playlists with me, exchanged crime doc recommendations, and quite literally sold Scents & Such Studio products to new customers by sharing your experiences with our brand🥲

While I'm looking forward to being with my family and getting some self-care after pulling 12 straight 13hr days🥴, I'm leaving here inspired and excited to come back really soon💪🏾

Happy Saturday Morning🌞

We are at Rock on to Wellness kicking off Summerfest 2026🥳

This is our 4th time being selected to preview our Scents & Such Studio products here, but this year hits different as it's also the 26th anniversary of my mom's promotion to ancestor😇🕊 Just as that day, Thomas Barnett is right by my side🥹🥰 so I'm alright❤️‍🩹

We are here until 11:30AM!

The women of W.O.W. asked me to help plan an event to kick off Women's Month at Mt Zion Baptist Church of Joliet, IL. What they didn't know was I'd been quietly transforming my favorite Scents & Such Studio scents into my personal perfumes and creating room spray formulations for months, and when the announcement was made that it would be a great mother-daughter experience, I immediately wanted to incorporate the women who mean so much to me in some way.

I never expected the event to sell out with a waitlist before I had an opportunity to open it to the public🤯 While I've taught workshops before, this was my first perfume making class, and I was NERVOUS😅🫠 I never anticipated being embraced in such a loving, safe way🥲 More than custom perfumes and room sprays, new connections and bonds were created Saturday 💚 You just had to be there🥹

and I are overwhelmed with gratitude for all the support shown to us and our business. The first perfume class needed to be with family first💯
