The women of W.O.W. asked me to help plan an event to kick off Women's Month at Mt Zion Baptist Church of Joliet, IL. What they didn't know was I'd been quietly transforming my favorite Scents & Such Studio scents into my personal perfumes and creating room spray formulations for months, and when the announcement was made that it would be a great mother-daughter experience, I immediately wanted to incorporate the women who mean so much to me in some way.
I never expected the event to sell out with a waitlist before I had an opportunity to open it to the public🤯 While I've taught workshops before, this was my first perfume making class, and I was NERVOUS😅🫠 I never anticipated being embraced in such a loving, safe way🥲 More than custom perfumes and room sprays, new connections and bonds were created Saturday 💚 You just had to be there🥹
and I are overwhelmed with gratitude for all the support shown to us and our business. The first perfume class needed to be with family first💯
