What's Your Remodel Motivation?
Cracks in ceramic tiles are terribly unsightly, even perhaps embarrassing. They’re generally caused by the tile’s improper adhesion to its substrate (base) resulting in hollow spots below the tile’s surface. These spots in turn cause the grout to breakup and come out. If this is the problem you need fixing start by getting your floor inspected. You likely have more hallow spots that in time will erupt as well. Having extra replacement tiles on hand is great, but not as important as the installer’s preparation (mud) and placement (air pocket free) of those tiles. No tiles on hand?
