Hope Unfurling — SOLD — I love it when a piece clearly just connects with a collector! I painted this zinnia when I needed a little something bright to cheer me up. It’s my favorite stage of the zinnia bloom, right before it pops wide open, so full of anticipation and hope. Thanks to the for hosting the Spring Festival and helping this beauty find its home!

A Violet for Our Love — on our anniversary trip last year, we stayed out in rural Arkansas and I had plans to paint a tiny wildflower every day, but I got food poisoning, passed out, and hit my head. 🤢🤕😂 So this tiny little Violet is the only one I finished. Not long after painting this, my husband and I adopted a cat and named her Violet, so it is sweet for that reason too 💜 2x3in. Available at tonight’s ArtWalk in Longview.

Mint Tea! 🍵 Inspired by kanthas and my large blue pot of mint on my front porch, this painting brings to mind the icy lemon and mint electrolyte drink I make in the summers to keep my non-native husband afloat during Texas heat. Pour me a glass too! 🍋🌿🧊

I have talked with a few customers today about preserving their bibles — memories of children’s scribbles and Bible study notes, the places where they saw God. A Bible can be a physical memory of the spiritual life we are walking through, a representation of our relationship with our Father. It is a sweet thing to piece them back together, to restore wholeness and beauty to something that turns our hearts to God. 🤍

🌺🌻At the beginning of the year, I made a bible for myself and one for my mom in floral leather. I am loving mine! My old bible was the second rebind I did 🙈, so this upgrade is luxury ✨

🌺🌻Since we love them so much, I’ve decided to add them to my shop: If you want your bible rebound in wildflowers, now’s the time! 🤍💐The white wildflower pattern (what I have) is a limited edition.

I am a bit of a dreamer, always scribbling in my journals what could be and what might come ahead.

Are you a dreamer too? 💭💜 Sometimes it is fun to wonder even though there’s no clear path ahead.

I made these dreamer journals for the ones who like to write down their hopes and dreams— to process what is stirring in your heart and where it might lead.
