📚👜 LET’S TALK ABOUT MY “BOOK” BAG…

Because technically it’s a bag…BUT we all know it’s really just a portable personality trait. 😂

What’s inside? 👀

Books…Obviously….Duh!!!🤦🏽‍♀️

A couple of books I’m currently reading, a book I might read, a book I bought because the cover was pretty…you know the drill. And honestly, probably something completely unrelated that has somehow been living in there for three months. 🤷🏽‍♀️

But really…I carry A LOT in this bag. I don’t carry it everywhere I go, but I carry it around the house and it travels with me in the car quite often! Let take a PEEK inside!!!

✨Personal planner, my money planner, grid paper for spontaneous sketches, and a couple of writing utensils…this was planned so there are only 3. 😉
✨Business planner and notebook for ideas, reminders, etc.
✨Current reads plus my book review book…Yesteryear, The Vanishing Season, The Deal, and a re-read of The 5 Love Languages For Teens-my self help pick of the month.
✨SNACKS…say less right!?
✨Instax camera, book light, charger, headphones, and my Nook.
✨I will also throw a project in there if I have something I am currently working on…there is also usually gum, a plethora of receipts, random things my children put in there and once…a cat climbed in. 🙃🐈

Basically, if you see me carrying this bag, just know there’s a 97% chance I’m prepared for a spontaneous reading emergency. 📖🤣

✨NEW✨ FIND for this WHAT’S NEW WEDNESDAY!!!

I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her. I actually made THREE swipes past her before I finally committed. 😂 She’s just THAT gorgeous!!!

She looks hand-painted, and although she’s definitely been well-loved, I can’t help but fall completely in love with her and I wouldn’t change a thing about her.💛

And now I want to know her story…

Where did she come from?
What has she seen?
Who loved her before me?
What memories does she carry?
And most importantly…what is her story going to be NEXT? 🥹✨

That’s my favorite part about thrifting—the stories we get to imagine and the new stories we get to create.

Do you remember my plate/gallery wall idea from a few weeks back?! Well…TODAY IS THE DAY!!! 🎉

I have SO MANY great pieces collected for this space, and I am officially itching to get started. Progress over perfection, right?! 🙌🏼

So, I ran to Ace and grabbed a can of paint…or two 😉…and I’m ready to touch up a few rough spots and start the DEMO…

I mean…HANGING!!! 😂

Here’s the FIRST piece I picked up for this space…and honestly, chickens sipping THE tea?! YES. PLEASE. 🐔🫖💕

I’ve also got some of the other pieces I’ve collected, including some AMAZING thrifted plates that are going to be part of another DIY coming SOON! 👀

AND these prints?! CLEARANCE finds! I couldn’t resist the little animals gathered around the table, and for a couple bucks, how could I say no?! 🤷🏼‍♀️
